Lifetime Development, Menkes Developments and Alcion Ventures joined forces to create Toronto’s first combined five-star hotel and elegant condominium.

Surrounded by premier retail, art galleries, museums and haute cuisine restaurants, the two towers of the Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences offer a total of 204 condominiums. The taller 52-storey West Residence begins at the 24th floor above the Four Seasons Hotel. The East Residence is a 26-storey building with a separate entrance off Scollard St. Prices start at $1.9 million.

The glass, stone and steel towers surround a unique garden designed by Claude Cormier. Viewed from above, the red and gray granite pathways form the outline of an English rose. To be enjoyed at ground level are the trees, shrubs, etched rose wall and in the summer, the cool mist. An enormous (4-storey) red birdbath marks the entrance to the hotel.

Amenities at the Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences include 24-hour concierge, doorman and valet parking services. The private residences have their own lobby and elevators. There is an indoor pool, fitness centre and meeting and ballroom facilities. Available on an a la carte basis are spa services, a bar and restaurant, in-residence dining, housekeeping services and a business centre. Each suite has a direct phone connection to the hotel switchboard to allow residents quick access to hotel services.

On the Spa level is a pool, outoddor seating, a lounge, 2 whirlpools and the spa services area. On the Fitness level is a yoga room and a gym with cardio equipment.

The West Residence, with its entrance on Yorkville, offers 6 floorplans with suites ranging in size from 1956 sq. ft. to 3914 sq. ft. All West Residence suites come with 2 parking spaces.

The East Residence, with its entrance off Scollard St, offers 5 floorplans ranging in size from 1100 sq. ft. to 1814 sq. ft. Each East Residence suite comes with 1 parking space. Both residences have 1 and 2 bedroom suites available each with a generous corner terrace or balcony.

Expect only luxury at the Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences. Every suite has ceiling heights of 10ft or 12ft, with 8” plaster moulding and generous 7” baseboards. The full height windows are equipped with a low voltage motorized window shade system. There are indoor halogen potlights throughout. Flooring in the foyer, bathrooms and kitchen are marble, granite or limestone.

In the principle rooms, the flooring is either wool carpeting or hardwood. There is a direct-vented gas fireplace in each suite.

The solid wood kitchen cabinetry is by Downsview and comes complete with inserts for easy storage. The island has bar seating, the countertops and backsplash are either marble, granite or limestone. Appliances include a SubZero refrigerator, a Wolfe 36” gas range, a Miele oven and Wisper Quiet dishwasher.

The powder room has a customized vanity, Khohler facets and accessories and a custom mirror. The main bathroom has a 6 ft. free-standing oval bathtub. The shower has a Kohler pole hand shower with a 10” rain showerhead. The electric in-floor radiant heating has a programmable thermostat.

Every suite has a heat pump, humidification system, radiant hot water system for the perimeter windows and a central vacuum system. All are housed in sound proofed areas.
