Flatiron and Work Lofts are a mix of commercial and residential loft spaces at the corner of Dundas Street East and Carlaw Ave. Carlaw is known for their loft conversion buildings in the increasingly popular neighbourhood of Leslieville. Very similar to the historic Gooderman building , a popular Toronto landmark at the corner of Front and Wellington in the St Lawrence area, Flatiron will flare outward from a narrow rounded end.
The rounded shape of the ten storey building will be accentuated by the brick and glass wrapping around the curves of the condo. The two bedroom suites in the rounded end of the building enjoy some of the best views of the downtown city skyline. The 1,400 sq ft lower penthouse and the 2,200 sq ft upper penthouse boast a permanent unobstructed panoramic view of the city skyline.
All the suites are wide and shallow to allow for maximum light. The first floor houses boutique style shops and commercial spaces on the second storey. Starting on the third floor are 85 residential suites ranging from one to two bedroom plus dens. Suites have balconies, terraces or patios. All suites feature 9 ft ceilings, double thick stone countertops, European cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, Zen style bathtubs and shower stalls. Building amenities include an outdoor amenity space, business center, party room and an auto share vehicle on site.
