Juxtaposed the old with the new, the Fashion House condo at 560 King Street West abuts the Toronto Silver Plate Building. A heritage site preserved for it's late 19th century industrial design.
This King-Spadina neighbourhood, once the heart of Toronto’s industrial centre, is a growing area of interest for residential living. You can walk to the Toronto Music Garden or the Toronto Waterpark, or use the TTC Streetcar that runs along King Street West for a short ride to the St. Andrew Subway Station.
The Fashion House has 12 stories (334 units) with expansive exterior glass walls. This is a building that will rise up to meet you, as each of those windows has a custom covering that shows vibrant red on the street side – visible, welcoming and fun. Those same window treatments are a cool, crisp white on the interior.
Freed Development was inspired to fuse fashion and living by inviting 11 of Toronto’s designers to showcase their wares on each landing of the 11 floors. Here, high-end fashion becomes art.
BILD Awards were presented in 2009 to Fashion House for the Best Project of the Year and the Best Building. Units start at 464 sq. ft. for a studio to 1249 sq. ft. for a 3-bedroom. Some units have balconies or terraces.
With retail space on the ground floor, a 24-hour concierge, a spectacular rooftop pool and deck, the Fashion House is perfect for those who love the energy of a neighbourhood that continues to emerge and grow.
