Pictures & Floor Plans (if available)
Garrison Point is a master planned community of 5 high rise condos sitting on 7.6 acres between Cityplace and Liberty Village north of Fort York Boulevard. Phase one at 30 Ordinance Street is two high rise condos, 27 and 32 storeys that includes 629 suites and phase two is three condos, 23, 29 and 49 storeys high with the first three floors dedicated to commercial and retail. Phase 1 connects to a 3.9 acre urban park by internationally recognized landscape architect Claude Cormier. This park features an outdoor Olympic Sized pool, green space and a bridge connecting King Street West with Fort York Boulevard. This is a huge development, there’s 1738 suites among 5 buildings starting at 511 sq ft to 1800 sq ft. The first phase will feature a fitness centre, a pool, roof top terrace with bbq and a green roof. I like the interior features in the building, all the suites have 9 ft ceilings and laminate hardwood throughout. The layouts are well designed, most of the suites feature a window in the bedroom except for the smallest suite at 530 sq ft. Residents at Garrison Point can walk to Liberty Village for groceries, Trinity Bellwoods Park and the shopping on Queen St West and the entertainment on King St West. Residents can also walk to the Exhibition Go Stop for an easy commute to the Financial District. Garrison Point is a step up from Liberty Village, the buildings are better aesthically designed and there’s more dedicated urban space, the urban park is 3.9 acres.
