Dynamic architecture, resort like amenities and large balconies is what Jade on the Waterfront offers residents. With the close proximity to the lake, the developers, Phantom Developments were hoping residents could feel like they were living in a year round resort at Jade Waterfront.
The building is mid-size for the Etobicoke Waterfront, 38 storeys with 370 suites. The exterior of the building was inspired by the lake, the side of the building looks like a ripple of water.
Quandrangle Architects did the exterior and Tomas Pearce the Interior. The interior design finishes are contemporary and appeal to a young professional buyer who want to live close to downtown but still feel like the want to be a world away. One of the stand out features of Jade is the huge balconies that are more like extension of the living area space. I’ve never seen anything like it, most average at 400 sq ft. The balconies include a storage area, bbq hook up and plug in for cellphone and TVs.
Some of the suites may not be that large at Jade Waterfront but they are well designed and space is efficiently used.
Amenities are located on the third floor and include yoga and fitness studio, pet grooming area, gym, virtual golf ranges, pottery studio, bicycle racks and private screening room.
Outdoor pool and outdoor deck with a large outdoor terrace and cabanas add to the feeling of resort living. An outdoor community planting area could be a surprising popular amenity with residents. Residents have easy access to waterfront Martin Goodman and Humber Valley Trials. Jade Waterfront is just minutes to downtown by Go Train, Highway and twenty minutes by streetcar.
The Etobicoke Waterfront might be the closest thing that buyers can find to Miami. Year round resort living best sums up the lifestyle at Jade Waterfront, an small escape from the bustle of the downtown core.
