Pictures & Floor Plans (if available)
This landmark development completed in 2010 and is Canada's first Sports & Entertainment condominium. Maple Leaf square is more than just a residential condo, but a building where residents can live, play, work and shop. Maple Leaf Square Condos has two towers, North tower is 65 Bremner Blvd and South tower is 55 Bremner Blvd.
Located at the foot of York St and Lake Shore Blvd, just south of the Financial District. It has direct access to the subway, Union Station and the Underground Path System. The Underground Path System lies underneath all of the office towers in the financial district and has direct access to the Air Canada Centre, the venue for hockey games, basketball games, and concerts. This means that occupants of Maple Leaf Square will be able to walk underground, perhaps to work, shopping, or entertainment in the middle of winter and not so much have to put on a coat or dirty their shoes. The closest description I can think of for this Path system is like a huge underground mall connected to the city's arteries.
The building itself has become a major destination for retail, (in partnership with Cadillac Fairview of the Eaton Centre) as well as a dining destination. Other features of this project that make it different than any other condominium: use of a private box at the ACC for every event, shared among the residents of the condominium and luxury Hotel with 24-hour room service. Maple Leaf Square Condos has over 35,000 sq ft of residential amenities that include indoor/outdoor pool, fitness and recreational facilities, a theatre and business centre. The lower level of the retail podium has a 50,000 sq ft gourmet superstore - "Longo's". There is a 6,000 sq ft daycare that offers priority to the residents of the building.
The building has "Intelligent Building Technology", use of developing technology to make the building safer and more efficient. This is most obvious with their key card door lock system. The ground floor has a 20,000 sq ft state of the art sports restaurant and bar, the largest and most cutting edge in all of Canada which has become very popular and busy. Views from the condos are either of the lake or the city. From that location, it’s hard to beat the night time view of the city!
